Mother of All Mothers 2024

Not only has Marnie Louise endured chronic health issues that she thought meant she could not have children, relationship breakdowns, domestic violence, depression, the heartbreak of losing her father, almost losing her eldest daughter, the highs and lows of her entrepreneurial mind and owning her own business.

Most importantly Marnie survived raising 3 strong-willed, intelligent, fierce daughters alone… yes… 3. Well done! Girls are hard, especially teenage girls, right?

At one point in her life, all of that adversity had her questioning why she was here, and if she even wanted to be, instead of falling victim to the pain and darkness, she dug deep, and used her own mother as an inspiration. You see her mum too has had her fair share of ups and downs, but through it all, she showed Marnie that women can be strong, courageous and determined and she can do it all on her own.

She surrounded herself with friends and mentors and she looked within herself. As she watched her babies, who would one day become women…she pushed through. Marnie rose from that darkness with purpose, with grace, and with a fire burning so brightly, it can never be extinguished.

The quiet achiever, Marine’s work and compassion for her community often goes unnoticed by those who don’t know her. But those that do, know that when her neighbour passed away suddenly, she took in the children and helped them transmission to their new life, with their mother. She makes blankets for nursing homes, she encourages and supports other women through her RAW retreats, she collaborates with Broken to Brilliant organisation that supports women who have experienced domestic violence and she lifts you up with daily Facebook affirmations.

Through her RAW retreats, she now spends her life encouraging, empowering, and embracing women in all stages of their journey to self-care, self-respect and self-love. And she is proud of every single time she faced adversity, she’s grateful for those life lessons and she’s thankful for the love that surrounds her, because all of that has brought her to who she is today.

The woman who is before you right now… the Mother of All Mothers
